Refund & Returns Policy

We want you to be happy with your purchase. This policy explains when and how you can return Wander Gut and request a refund. It applies in addition to — and does not limit — your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

1. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have products repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Nothing in this policy limits those rights.

2. Change-of-mind returns (unopened only)

Because our products are consumable health supplements, change-of-mind returns are accepted only where the product is:

  • returned within 30 days of delivery;
  • unopened, unused and still sealed in its original packaging; and
  • in resalable condition.

For health and safety reasons, we are unable to accept change-of-mind returns of opened or used products. For change-of-mind returns, the original shipping cost is non-refundable and you are responsible for the cost of return postage. We recommend using a tracked service, as we cannot process a refund for items we do not receive.

3. Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

If your product is faulty, damaged in transit, or you received the wrong item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at hello@thewandergut.com with your order number and photos of the issue. Where a product is confirmed faulty or not as described, we will provide a replacement or a full refund (including shipping) in line with your ACL rights, at no cost to you.

4. How to request a return or refund

  1. Email us at hello@thewandergut.com with your order number and the reason for your request.
  2. We’ll confirm whether your item is eligible and, if so, provide return instructions and the return address.
  3. Send the item back as instructed (for change-of-mind returns, postage is at your cost).
  4. Once received and inspected, we’ll notify you and process any approved refund.

Please do not send items back without contacting us first, as unauthorised returns may not be processed.

5. Refund processing

Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method via our payment processor (Stripe). Once approved, please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or card provider. We’ll email you when your refund has been processed.

6. Non-returnable items

Other than where required by the Australian Consumer Law (for example, faulty products), the following cannot be returned:

  • opened or used products;
  • products without their original sealed packaging; and
  • products returned more than 30 days after delivery.

7. Cancellations

If you need to change or cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible at hello@thewandergut.com. We process orders quickly, so we can only amend or cancel an order if it has not yet been dispatched.
